TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

The Broker — The Short Version

TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

His background matters. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Many pick one platform. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly coming. That will be a good addition when it lands.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for beginners.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.

Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.

Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the detail that matters. The broker is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Scam brokers do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It should inform your assessment.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You deposit, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you deposit.
