TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

His background tells you something. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That would round things out when it lands.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.

Put together that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package makes sense. Few brokers with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

Here is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Dodgy operations do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. That does not guarantee anything. But factor into your assessment.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense is your call.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before funding.
